Our Boat Trip starts by getting to know the port of Mahon, the biggest natural port in Europe. You will see the ‘Isla del Rey’ (King’s Island), named after Alfonso lll who landed here to reclaim Menorca for Spain in 1287. And the Isla de Lazareto, a quarantine base built by the British in 1711.
Nacho, your skipper, will be pleased to answer any questions in English or Spanish, that you have, as he explains about the history of the island and the places of interest you will be seeing.
Once clear of the port we will turn either to the North or to the South, depending on the prevailing wind and sea conditions.
the north. We will sail for a couple of hours, following the coast, until we reach the nature reserve of the Isla Colom. There we will anchor in crystal clear waters off a virgin beach only accessible by boat.
the south. We will sail towards the Isla del Aire (Windy Island) passing through the turquoise waters of Punta Prima and sailing close inshore until we reach Cala Biniparratx, a beautiful beach difficult to reach from the land.
